With publication of Exploring the Fremont, the Utah Museum of Natural History is pleased to present the eighth volume in its Occasional Publications Series. The work is an adjunct to the exhibit of the same name, and is the Museum’s first exhibit catalog; it will also serve as a continuing reference about this important prehistoric group. The Utah Museum of Natural history holds, as a public trust and for the future, a large archaeological collection that has been built by a century of University of Utah scholarship. The collection is regularly used for research; with this publication the Museum shares pieces of it with the public. All of the wonderful objects illustrated here are in the Utah Museum of Natural history, unless otherwise noted.
